City of Parramatta Council invites feedback from the community on a proposal to remove a bus stop in front of 120 Alfred Street, Harris Park. The bus stop is located near the corner of Weston Street opposite Montessori Kindergarten.
Council is proposing to:
- Remove the bus stop to support customer, pick-up and delivery parking for local businesses
- Introduce 1/4P parking in front of the shops
- Introduce 1/2P parking opposite the shops
The ‘pairs’ of bus stops on Alfred Street at Alice Street and Prospect Street are to be retained.
The community's feedback is welcome during exhibition of this proposal. Council will consider all feedback in consultation with the bus provider before making a decision.
