Council maintains around 150 playgrounds across the Parramatta LGA, providing quality play spaces for children and families of all ages.
Boronia Park playground in Epping is a much-loved district playground, enjoyed by children and people of all ages. Nestled beneath mature gum trees not far from the Boronia Grove Community Centre and a short walk from Epping Station, it is a popular destination for both local families and visitors alike.
As the playground equipment is reaching the end of its serviceable life, Council is planning an exciting upgrade with new play opportunities to keep the playground fun, inclusive and welcoming for years to come.
What would you like to see in the renewed playground? Are there favourite play elements that should be retained?

Next steps
After the round one consultation period closes, all feedback will be reviewed and used to inform the draft concept design for the new district playground at Boronia Park. The draft design will then be placed on public exhibition later in the year, providing a further opportunity for the community to review and help refine the design.
