City of Parramatta Council has reviewed the existing parking conditions in Brodie Street, Rydalmere following requests from local businesses.
As a result, a proposal to install ‘6P 7pm-7am’ parking restrictions in the currently unrestricted sections of Brodie Street is on public exhibition.
The yellow lines on the map below indicate where the restrictions would apply south of Yallamundi Light Rail station to just south of Alani Street.

About the proposal
- The proposed restriction will apply overnight, limiting vehicles to a maximum stay of six hours between 7:00 pm and 7:00 am.
- The purpose of the restriction is to discourage long-term parking, including vehicles being left on the street for multiple days or weeks, and to help ensure parking remains available for local businesses, their employees, customers and visitors.
