The park was significantly impacted by Sydney Water works after the collapse of the Northmead Pumping Station. Now, with a $100,000 contribution from Sydney Water, Council is planning improvements to benefit the local community.
We’re exploring ideas like better seating, shade structures, picnic areas, enhanced dog off-leash space, walking paths, and landscaping. Your feedback will help us prioritise what matters most.
No. A new playground is not part of this project because there is already one nearby at Willsford Homes Park.
Yes! We welcome all ideas. This first round of consultation is your chance to share any suggestions that will improve your experience of the park.
The Kleins Road Corridor is a separate Council project that will run through part of Burlington Memorial Park. While we’re planning upgrades nearby, no work will take place within the shared path’s alignment. More information about the Kleins Road Pedestrian and Cyclist Corridor can be found here: https://participate.cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.au/kleins-road-corridor
Your feedback will help inform a draft concept design for the park. We’ll share this design in a future round of consultation for further community input.
