Churchill Drive, Winston Hills is a busy road carrying a high volume of traffic each day. Motorists can often find it difficult to find a safe gap in traffic when turning right onto Churchill Drive from Berrigan Street and Ulandi Place.
To improve road safety, City of Parramatta is proposing to install a traffic management scheme in the form of a seagull island, new turning lanes and changes to line markings (see plan below or download the design plan). These improvements would allow motorists entering Churchill Drive from Berrigan Street to complete right-turn movements in two stages, making it easier to find safe gaps in traffic. Motorists turning right onto Churchill Drive from Ulani Place will be required to continue performing a standard right-turn movement.

Plan 1: Proposed location for seagull island traffic management treatment, new turning lanes and line marking changes on Churchill Drive, Winston Hills
