Residents of the City of Parramatta that are aged 18+, have lived in the local government area for at least 6 months, and are not a City of Parramatta Council employee.
We did not provide a financial incentive for completing this survey. We wanted to hear from all residents that are interested in helping us to track our performance so that we can improve the services that we provide to our community.
The survey was translated into Simplified Chinese and Korean. Participants could choose their preferred language at the start of the survey.
From Tuesday 7 October 2025, a random selection of residents received a phone call from Micromex (engaged on behalf of Council) during reasonable daytime or evening hours to complete the survey over the phone. At the same time, the survey was promoted across a number of Council’s communication channels, including the October Council rates notice, e-newsletters, Council’s websites, community hubs and libraries, Council's auto-reply email, and Council's social media accounts.
Council engaged Micromex to run this survey on Council’s behalf. Micromex is a leading market research and consulting firm that has over 35 years of experience in Australia.
A summary of results will be shared with the community in mid 2026.
