  • The works include new paving, kerbs, gutters, full road reconstruction, improved lighting for safety, and mature street trees for shade.
  • Oxford Street will receive special enhancements as the main retail area, including decorative lighting, landscaping, laser-cut light pillars, and unique street furniture.
  • The laneway next to the Epping School of Arts will get new paving, furniture, lighting, landscaping, and improved pedestrian access with new steps and ramps.
  • New road markings at the main intersection near Epping train station will also improve safety for drivers and pedestrians.

Works will occur in stages to minimise disruptions to businesses, residents and visitors and are expected to take nine months to complete.
