Over 90% of submissions indicated support for the proposed upgrades to Sherwin Park, Barton Park, PH Jeffery Reserve and Old Saleyards Reserve.
Respondents told Council that the proposed upgrades were required, particularly the improved amenity of our parks. We also heard your concerns regarding anti-social behaviour, safety and noise disruptions. Feedback received requested additional infrastructure, including improved accessibility and increased canopy cover.
In terms of next steps, Council is in the process of reviewing the feedback received and updating the Concept Package.
