New playground now open!

Community can now enjoy the upgraded Rapanea Community Forest playground, with new pathway, bubbler, rubber softfall, play equipment, swings, climbing features, improved seating and other enhancements designed to support fun, active outdoor play.

Construction of the new playground

Construction of the new Rapanea Community Forest playground will commence in the week starting 18 May 2026 and is expected to take approximately three months, subject to weather conditions, with completion anticipated by late August – early September 2026.
