We’d love to hear about the places that make the City of Parramatta special to you! Tell us about your favourite local spots through a quick survey and by sharing your photos. Whether it’s a hidden trail, a bustling café, or a quiet corner, your words and images will help capture the unique character of our city and surrounding suburbs through the eyes of the people who know them best.

Entries close on Monday 5 January 2026, and every valid entry goes into the draw to win a $300 e-gift voucher (T's & C's apply). One winner will be randomly selected and notified by 30 January 2026.

Frequently asked questions

Anyone aged 18 years or over is eligible to enter the prize draw. Please read the full terms and conditions document for further information.

To enter, you are required to complete and submit a valid online entry via the Participate Parramatta platform on the ‘Share Your Favourite Local Spots’ page at https://participate.cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.au/photo-competition-dec-2025 and subscribe to the Participate Parramatta e-newsletter (or provide updated demographic details if already subscribed to the Participate Parramatta e-newsletter) between 10 December 2025 and 5 January 2026.

Photos must be taken within the City of Parramatta Local Government Area. Please ensure that you have permission from anyone that is identifiable in the photo to upload the photo to Participate Parramatta. Please ensure that photos are appropriate and do not include any personally identifiable information (such as names or phone numbers).
