City of Parramatta Council is proposing to install raised thresholds and median islands on Redbank Road at Balmoral Road, Northmead.
This upgrade will:
- Slow down traffic and improve visibility on both approaches to Balmoral Road
- Make it easier and safer for motorists exiting Balmoral Road and nearby driveways
- Improve safety for everyone travelling through the intersection.
Please note: Right‑turn access to Balmoral Road, Bunnings and the commercial driveway will be retained and will not be affected by the installation of the median island.
The project is fully funded by the Australian Government’s Federal Road Safety Program.
