The revitalised venue will offer even more for everyone in our community to enjoy. This is your space — designed with you in mind!

Explore the exciting changes

The redevelopment will open new possibilities for connection and fun, inviting you to enjoy easy access to a modern facility in beautiful parkland surroundings. The new centre will offer:

  • A spacious multipurpose hall featuring a stage, dressing rooms, and state-of-the-art AV equipment — perfect for performances, celebrations and community gatherings
  • Flexible rooms with extra kitchen space - great for workshops, group activities and special events
  • An inviting, covered foyer and main lobby to welcome you in style
  • Accessibility upgrades including ramps and lifts, so everyone can join in the fun
  • Improved landscaping that enhances the park’s natural beauty
  • A convenient ‘kiss and drop’ bay at the front entrance for easy access
Please note that the closing date for the current facility has changed. It is now anticipated that the centre will stay open until April 2026. This gives all groups and casual users extra time to enjoy the community space.

Working with the community

Council listened closely to local voices during the master planning process of the North Rocks Park Precinct. Since then, significant planning and design work has been completed to ensure that the upgrade of Don Moore Community Centre better supports a wider range of community activities and needs.

Now, the community can see what exciting new designs and additions are planned for this much-loved community centre.
