Have your say on the proposed Robin Street Park playground replacement in Carlingford
The City of Parramatta looks after more than 150 playgrounds across the local area, helping to provide safe, accessible and enjoyable places for children and families to play, explore and connect. These playgrounds range from large destination parks to smaller neighbourhood and pocket playgrounds that support local communities.
Robin Street Park is a small pocket park tucked away in a quiet residential area of Carlingford. While it has a narrow street frontage, the park opens up towards the rear where a playground provides a convenient local space for children and families. Pocket playgrounds play an important role in providing nearby opportunities for play and recreation close to home. The existing playground has reached the end of its useful life and is now due for renewal. Council is planning to replace the playground equipment and improve the space to ensure it remains safe, accessible and enjoyable for local families for years to come. The project will also consider opportunities to improve accessibility, seating and shade within the park.
Council is seeking community feedback to help inform the design of the new playground. Your input will help us understand how the playground is currently used and what is important to the local community as we plan for its replacement.
