Somerville Park, Eastwood

The City of Parramatta invites our community to celebrate the official re‑opening of Somerville Park on Saturday, 13 June, from 12.30pm-2.30pm, with a free afternoon of family fun, face painting, giant bubbles, a sausage sizzle and more.

Featuring upgraded play, fitness and sports facilities, the renewed Somerville Park includes a new all-ages playground with a dedicated nature play area, a multipurpose court for ball sports and table tennis, as well as improved pathways and enhanced accessibility — transforming it into an excellent space for the whole community.

This $4.7m project is proudly funded by the NSW Government's Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants Program in association with City of Parramatta Council.
