New turn restrictions for Wykoff Lane, Melrose Park and William Street, Ermington

Project background

New turn restrictions on local road network

With the forthcoming growth in the Melrose Park precinct, Victoria Road is set to be upgraded to cater for the anticipated extra demand. These works which are required under a Voluntary Planning Agreement include the widening of Victoria Road, upgrading of Kissing Point Road, provision of signalised pedestrian crossings and more. For further information on the Victoria Road upgrade works, please see the FAQ section below or visit the NSW Goverment Planning Portal.

The Victoria Road widening works are being delivered under the care and control of Transport for NSW (TfNSW) as Victoria Road and Marsden Road are NSW state roads. To help facilitate these works on Victoria Road, City of Parramatta Council is proposing changes on Kissing Point Road, William Street and Wharf Road (all located within our local road network jurisdiction).

The proposed restrictions for the local roads below are required to reduce possible vehicle conflicts and ensure improved road safety.

1. No Right Turn restrictions both into and out of William Street at Kissing Point Road

2. No Right Turn restrictions both into and out of Wykoff Lane at Wharf Road
