DOWNLOAD THE DRAFT STRATEGY
This ten-year strategy is a blue-print for ongoing improvements in sustainable waste management. It recognises the partnership between Council and the community, with Council committed to deliver on the four priorities area including:
- Setting a waste leadership culture
- Improving waste management
- Keeping waste out of the city environment
- Promoting the circular economy
These are underpinned by education to support Council staff and the community to understand and deliver on all priorities. For more information, see the FAQ section or download the full draft Strategy.
Our vision: To lead the way in sustainable waste management through collaboration with community and innovative, resourceful solutions for a cleaner future.
