Draft Integrated Heritage Strategy and HCAs Review

Please be advised that Council will be considering a report on the Outcomes of the Public Exhibition, including a response to the submissions made in relation to the Heritage Conservations Areas Review, at its meeting of 12 October 2026.

Council will be asked to resolve a position on the HCA Review recommendations, including a way forward to implement any agreed changes to heritage conservation area (HCA) planning controls for further consideration by Council and the community.

PLEASE NOTE: No changes to any heritage planning controls, including for any HCAs or individual properties are being made at this time. Any changes to planning controls will be subject to a future Planning Proposal and draft Development Control Plan Amendment and further community consultation before they could be legally implemented.
