Works to deliver Stage 1 of the Finlaysons Creek Trail upgrade are now underway.
Temporary site fencing has been installed at key access points around Shannons Paddock, and additional signage is being placed throughout the area to help guide pedestrians and cyclists around the construction zone. The shared path through the work area remains closed while construction is carried out.
The closure is necessary to ensure the safety of the community and construction crews while works are completed. Signposted detours remain in place via nearby local streets. Stage 1 works will improve the trail network through Shannons Paddock and form part of Council's broader vision to enhance connections, accessibility and recreational opportunities along Finlaysons Creek.
Council thank residents and visitors for their patience during construction and will continue to provide updates as works progress.
