Project Update - Engagement Result and Council Decision

In late 2025, Council invited submissions on three all-electric building control options for new developments outside the Parramatta CBD. We heard from more than 140 community members and industry stakeholders, who provided a wide range of views on the three proposed options. After considering all submissions, Council resolved at its meeting on 23 February 2026, not to amend the Parramatta DCP 2023 until the NSW Government releases the NSW Gas Decarbonisation Roadmap.
