Remove the peanut roundabout and convert to a smaller roundabout, permitting 2 lanes along Darcy. The right lane can go right to the station, the other straight or left. If you drove along it, you would easily see that the existing govt design ends up causing more congestion.

Remove the NO Right turn. For commuters wanting to go to Wentworthville Station, this is faster as the peanut roundabout gets clogged up because of the schools in westmead.

Remove the permanent bike lane so that residents can park in front of their homes. Not a single resident wanted it. Cyclists still use the road and it creates a traffic hazard during peak hour around Doig st. Also, remove the speed humps or reduce their size. There are loud bangs when a car goes into them.

If you want to leave the painted bike lane, that's fine. Also, lower the speed humps to not be as large so that residents don't hear bangs every time a driver hits them.

More community events at the library and adjourning community centre please for Epping residents. Most seem to be at Parramatta. Prefer to have in the current facilities than to travel 30 to 45 minutes to Parramatta.

This pocket park supports 2 highly significant remnant Forest Red Gum, that are unfortunately close to the side (NW) boundary and due to the previous filled land (for a playground space now removed) the trees are not supported for natural regeneration. Community Landcare Project proposal to reshape filled land away from the full TPZs of the Eucalypts to reestablish a Bush Pocket on 50% site incl. a Bothriochloa and Themeda Grassland field. Balance of site as Spice & Flower Garden with additional seating, shade arbor & Sculpture placemaking.

The remnant Grey Box & Forest Red Gum onsite are signficant bird habitat, that need ecological restoration of their TPZ (tree protection root zones) as Bush pockets, connection to other local remnant trees, and excluded from mowing, civil work, expansion of the Playground or paths. A Community Landcare Project is required. The poor design of previous path and playground locations impacted on the sites' most mature and significant FR Gum leading to its complete removal (12/2022). Future Playground Review needs to be narrowed and moved east. T/U

It’s great that council have installed new cycleway in this location to better activate the public domain and link north parramatta to Westmead. To further improve this initiative we would love to see a children’s playground installed in the Cumberland hospital precinct, in close proximity to the light rail (near the Ngara station) . It would encourage more visitors to this location and greatly benefit the community.

Northmead reserve is home to Baulkham Hills Baseball and participates in the highest level of baseball in NSW and Australia. The facilities need redevelopment to cater for elite and community sports and the grounds require lighting suitable for small ball sports.

Binalong park is on the doorstep of Toongabbie public school with children utilising the space morning and afternoon every weekday. The bathrooms are never open for the kids. They have digital PIN codes that should be programmed to be unlocked I the hours after school in particular. The playground space is also aging and the gate is currently broken. The large swing is dangerous when there are lots of children playing.

Caber park has well utilised tennis courts and spaces with a lot of potential, but the quality and condition of the infrastructure around the courts, the bathroom facilities and parks make it feel unwelcoming. The wall space could be painted with a mural and turned into a tennis hitting walll for solo players.

Install a pedestrian crossing here, and reclaim the half of lane to plant some trees or something (the north side is all signposted "No Stopping" anyway, and otherwise Macquarie Lane is only 1 lane of one way traffic). Also the curb ramps were recently redone here but they are lower than the drainage now so they flood easily when it rains.

Finish delivering "The People's Loop" project, which was meant to "remove most vehicles from the core of the park". Phase 1 installed 89 new car spaces, and with Misc cafe opening in late 2022 as well there's more cars in the park than ever.

Move the picnic tables back from the path a little bit, and replace them with double sets in each spot. Often big groups use these tables but have to bring extra chairs to fit everyone.

Many areas on the north side of the shared path (from O'Connell St to Baludarri Drive) have poor drainage, so after rain (not even flooding rain) there's often large areas of water and slippery mud/silt on the path. There's about a dozen spots where this happens so I won't spam the map with markers for all of them.

It would be cool to use the land next to the Y building and build a new facility. The bottom level could be a new gym and pool with a full sized futsal court on top that can also be used for basketball, badminton, volleyball etc. Similar to the gym at UNSW. Any extra room can be used for dance, gymnastics, martial arts or offices. There could also be a cafe or something on the bottom level. Right now its just an old small building that was built for a different Epping and a patch of grass that doesn't really get used for anything.

I'd love to see a footpath built here instead of the uneven dirt track. Currently there is a narrow path that leads down to the reserve from Hazlewood Pl and a path through the flat. Widening the path would be good as well. A footpath on Kent St side would be nice as well. Its a nice alternative route that is decent albeit a bit bumpy when its dry, but not so good when it gets wet and slippery. Thanks.

This sporting ground needs a large overhaul to support the growing community in the area. At present Roselea FC uses this as their home ground for soccer, but it is regularly washed out with rain during the winter months. With an investment in a synthetic field, lighting and a pavilion, the community would benefit by being able to play soccer year round. The cross section of ethnic involvement at the Roselea FC is fantastic, but the club and community are falling behind other areas that have had significant investment that Carlingford needs.

This playground is very old and needs to be updated. It is heavily utilized by local families, particularly those in apartments. Bins must be added as it is often dirty. The grass area could be used for a larger playground.

CAROLINE CHISHOLM Community Garden. The modified park contours between Tennis Courts and Winston Heights Public School is an optimum site for local Community Garden & Biodiversity Educational Hub. With a history of Maltese market gardens, post colonial Convict farm landclearing, and WHP schools' boundary planting, this parents' afterschool meeting place can host a fenced Veg & Foodforest, natureplay, Eco curriculum, Watercycle 'raingarden' and areas of canopy regeneration of the Endangered Ecological Community, being Cumberland Plain Woodland.

As a State Heritage site the Toongabbie Government Farm (est. by Gov Phillip 1/4/1791) needs priority community development as a Sustainable Living & Local Arts Hub on the (drafted) Active Cycleway. Barnett Park has tragically lost many ancient Stringybark Trees, irreplaceable in 250 years. Those remaining alive need to be managed as Isolated Remnant Heritage Items, categorised as Bushland plots to exclude mulch, civil work & irrigation or as Microforest enhanced with local endemic species. Attached Sketch eg. X= Euc amplifolia planting a Microforest link to Angophora cluster, Y= Barnetts Rd x3 Stringybark as NoMow TPZ regeneration, and Z= Tall lopped Habitat Stag retained with bush planting. Request for the future Active Cycleway is a multi_benefit crossing of the 2 concreted channels Girraween & Pendle Creek in a "Ushape Bridge". This links all four margins for pedestrian access. Attached Sketch also nominates: a new Tucks Rd Cycle Bridge to Seven Hills (lightweight construction; Linear Forest Landcare Plantings; remnant Eucalypt trees protection adjacent to McCoy Basin; relocating the draft Route along the Basin ridge, and cultural aesthetic Placemaking, as missing link in Great West Walk community infrastructure experience.

Springfield Park would greatly benefit from improved lighting to enhance safety, particularly for women and children. The park benches along the river here are right on the path, meaning when people sit, cyclists and pedestrians have to get really close to them. Can we offset the park benches from the path by a metre or two to give a more comfortable sitting experience and reduce the risk of injuries from cyclists?

Doyle Ground is beloved by many, but would benefit from:1. Lights on at night time all around the ground to encourage usage eg walkers and joggers after dark2. More areas for adults and teenagers to meet (sometimes they hang out at the playground and this feels weird)3. More playground space for kids + more bins/better cleaning4. Bicycle use is unsafe for pedestrians: I would either create a separate track for bicycles or improve bicycle infrastructure across North Parramatta to encourage and divert bicycle use away from Doyle Ground

This playground is unusable, possibly the worst playground I have come across and dangerous. As an adult I find it difficult to use the equipment. Park needs to be fixed before someone gets hurt and a fence added as it is close to a major roadDog park should also be double gated for the same reason.
