The City of Parramatta will soon be commencing a major upgrade of the streetscape along Oxford Street,

    Arts.

The project will upgrade all four streets with new paving, kerbs, gutters, full road reconstruction, improved

main retail area, including decorative lighting, landscaping, laser-cut light pillars, and unique street furniture.
The laneway next to the Epping School of Arts will get new paving, furniture, lighting, landscaping, and improved
pedestrian access with new steps and ramps. New road markings at the main intersection near Epping train
station will also improve safety for drivers and pedestrians.

Work is scheduled to start during the week commencing 16 February 2026 and will take approximately 9 months
to complete. Work will generally take place Monday to Friday from 7am to 5pm and from 8am to 5pm on
    Saturday
. However, there will be some instances where out of hours work is required, to which a separate
