  • Project Update - Review of Environmental Factors

    Council is pleased to share another milestone in the Civic Link Block 3 project. The Review of Environmental Factors (REF) is now available to view and access on Participate Parramatta.

    Preparation of the REF is part of the NSW Government planning process. It is a document prepared by specialist consultants to demonstrate due diligence and compliance with the requirements of the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act (1979).

    City of Parramatta is committed to implementing the mitigations identified in the REF to ensure the protection of our City’s environmental, cultural and heritage assets, and to keep our community safe throughout the construction program.

    The REF has concluded that there will be no significant impacts on matters of national environmental significance. No referral to the Australian Minister for the Environment under the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act is required.
