  July 2026 Construction Update

  The installation of the first-floor awning on the roof of the new amenities building is a significant construction milestone. Along with the completion of the waterproofing of the landscape area and the sub soil drainage for the mass planting area that leads from street level to the first-floor awning, the new amenities building is on track to be open to the sporting clubs and public by the end of 2026, weather permitting.   February 2026 Construction Update

  Construction works on the amenities building have progressed with the completion of the first-floor slab, blockwork, and load‑bearing walls, as well as the concrete stairs and seating facing the sports field. Internal works are scheduled to commence over the next few months.

  The City of Parramatta will soon commence demolition and reconstruction of the amenities building in Max Ruddock Reserve, Romulus Street, Winston Hills. This Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants project includes accessible bathrooms, change rooms, a kiosk, storage, improved access to the building and sports field, and an elevated viewing deck.
